My Hen Arrived!
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: Complete Control- The Clash
Topic: Hurrah!

Hurrah! Hurrah!

Henrietta's adoption papers have arrived. It's official! She's mine, all mine. Poor Henrietta, she's had a hard life. She's an ex-battery hen but I'm happy to say she's adjusting to her freedom very well. When she was first liberated from the battery farm, she had no feathers and had to wear a specially made jumper until they grew back. A magic hen, that wears bespoke clothes and types letters! How lucky am I?

If any of you would like to visit Henrietta, she receives visitors between 1-5pm on Sundays from Easter to October at Hillside Animal Sanctuary, Frettenham, Norwich NR12 7LT.

Mail Order Brides, A Readers Gift and Jamie4U.
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: Sing Your Life- Morrissey
Topic: Hurrah!

After the pain, anguish and distress my ironically named Smile bank account has caused me, I am happy again.

As a result I can now offer my opinions on kind reader Danny's fanzine. It is entitled 'Ask the Kelvin' and reading it is rather like wandering around Glasgow chatting with a good friend. He also draws our attention to the strange phenomenon of trainers hanging off telephone and electricity lines and is as baffled as I am by it. This has prompted another of my blog campaigns. I would like all of you to either confess to having hung trainers from telephone lines or find one of the culprits. I require information on this most disturbing and mysterious of urban phenomena. I want to know why they do it, how they do it. The works.

Anyway to return to Danny's fanzine, if you want a copy e-mail him at this address ask_the_kelvin@hotmail.co.uk and send him 50p.

Jamie4U is on fine form (as ever) and poised to star in a movie. It is obviously a porno, but Jamie swishes on oblivious. Fantastic!

Sian meets a vicar, who clearly relishes her family misfortunes as much as I do.

Feeling lonely? Send away for a wife.

Anyway I'm off to get excited about Footballers Wives. The finest show on the box.

Cheerio

My First Mysterious Benefactor
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: Common People-Pulp
Topic: Hurrah!
After last nights doom and gloom, I am restored to my former bouncy happy self (no sniggering at the back). Today I received my first donation. I am cock a hoop. But it gets better I e-mailed my mysterious benefactor to thank them and they e-mailed back saying sorry they couldn't give more!
Give more! Give more! I am grinning like an idiot and singing and I'm not even drunk and all because of a small act of kindness by a total stranger. In an emotional, spiritual way I have been made very rich indeed. And to think I used to be a cynic. Well I'm off now to grin some more. Three cheers for mysterious benefactor no1.
