Evening,

My faith in life is restored. Today, I saved not one, but two families from eviction and I no longer feel pointless. After such a stressful day I am, of course, exhausted. My boss also threatened to kill my nemesis which made me very, very happy indeed. I will of course be even happier if she does it.

I also have time off tomorrow and Monday, so I intend to spend the weekend lazing about, an activity at which I excel.

Last night, I paid a visit to the newly refurbished Black Bull on the High Street, accompanied by a gentleman whose name cannot be revealed on this blog. I must say I was particularly pleased at getting a slice of cake from a lady called Maggie who was celebrating her birthday. Anyway the Bull is looking very nice and I'm very fond of it. It reminds me a bit of The Grapes in 'Early Doors'. A pub is not a pub, unless it's full of old men who seem to spend their entire pension on lager.

There we are, on Sunday I was ready for killing myself, on Monday I felt like killing everyone else and today I'm tired but happy. That makes me very optimistic for the future.

Hello,

I'm off on holiday again to lovely Amsterdam so will not be posting for a few days. I went to Amsterdam last year and loved it. It's so laid back, there are hookers in windows and you can order egg, chips, cheese and salad for breakfast under the guise of a 'vegetarian Dutch breakfast'.
I love the Dutch! Basically I can swan about eating egg and chips and speaking English but still feel vastly superior to the Brits who go to Benidorm and do likewise because I will visit a museum. Admittedly it will be the sex museum but let us not dwell on such matters.

In my absence I am leaving a few posts which I have prepared earlier and this is the first of these posts. As I have no clue what is going to happen over the next few days I shall recommend things for you to go and look at. That way events cannot overtake me.

Today I would like you all to go and view this fine selection of music.

Today I'm off to lovely Prague and whilst I like to post regularly I'm not disciplined enough to seek out internet access to keep you up to date whilst I'm on holiday. So in the manner of the Queens speech or any other lazy festive TV show- here's one I wrote in advance.

As long term readers will no doubt be aware I sit at home day after day, like an especially coveteous magpie desiring new and shiny things to feather my nest. So for your reading pleasure behold my wish list.

1. A large house with a maze.
2. A lifetime supply of free Vivienne Westwood Clothes.
3. A fleet of peacocks trained to follow me on command.
4. A gaggle of geishas.
5. Unlimited leisure time.
6. My own fully stocked library.
7. An i-pod.
8. My own pub.
9. Amsterdam. Yes all of it.
10. My own pond full of swans and ducks.
